Well, here is our Quack-tastic news:

Through the strangest of circumstances, and the drive of one fan, we have been invited to play at this years Isle of Wight Festival in the UK!  For you Americans, it’s like Coachella or Woodstock, but on a small, groovy island, a bit south of London.  There are 3 stages and 3 days of music, art, and mayhem!  www.isleofwightfestival.com if you would like more information from the horse’s mouth.

I mean, the band had been talking about this opportunity for a while, and we were all looking at it logistically: what show would Cass be shooting? What movies would we be working on?  What other projects might take us away from this chance of a lifetime. . .? Etc.  But now that we have been able to officially tell the world?!  ARE YOU KIDDING!!!?  Every day it sinks in a little more that some of our biggest boyhood/girlhood dreams are coming true!  To play the same fest, the same day as the likes of Pearl Jam, Tom Petty, AND Bruce Springsteen!!!?  (Btw, why are all the American guys playing the British fest, and why is Radiohead playing the American Fest?  Riddle me this?)  It’s almost too much to take in. . .

So, please, if you are around a tiny island off the south coast of England from June 22nd thru the 24th, please come check us out.  We have 155 days of some serious work left to get back into gigging shape!  It’s been a while. . .

ALSO, please leave comments on this post about ideas for cool schwag items!  We are brainstorming now!

June afternoons in Europe,
